The second topic is about IT and ICT. We learnt its
definition, concepts, and types and how it is related to each other.
ICT- it is similar to information technology but it focuses more on
communication; it includes the Internet, mobile phones, network and other
communication devices.
IT- is general, it covers all forms of technology which humans use to
create, store and use information or it is any computer-based tools that helps
humans to work with the information and help with the information-processing to
make an organization better.
IT Architecture- it is a plan or a map of the information assets in an
organization such as
infrastructure and application.
IT Infrastructure- those are the physical facilities, services and
personnel that support the entire organization such as IT components, IT
personnel and IT services.
IT and ICT are very important in our daily life as it helps
us to do our work easier and more efficient. ICT is most used in health care,
government, education, business, science and banking.
